FAQ

What happens if we are late to pick-up or need to miss a day due to illness or vacation?

It is important for parents/guardians to pick up their child(ren) promptly at or before closing time. Late pick ups will result in an additional fee and repeated late pick ups may put your spot in jeopardy.

Missed days for illnesses or vacations are billed at the full rate.

Is your food cooked on site?

Yes, we provide healthy, nutritious meals and snacks that are prepared on-site by our cook. Anyone working in the kitchen has their Safe Food Handling Training. We have a 4-week rotational menu that is changed semi-annually. All of our food is prepared in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide.

How do I reserve a spot for my child(ren)?

Please complete the waitlist form on this website to be added to our waitlist. Once a spot is available and it is your turn on the list, we will give you a call to offer you the spot. At that time, we can schedule an in-person tour to help with your decision. If the intended start date is more than two weeks away, you will be asked to pay a deposit (equaling one week of fees) that is held and applied to your last week of care to secure your spot.

How do I get help paying for daycare?

Contact the Child Care Subsidy-Region of Durham to see if you are eligible for financial assistance.
